Photographs from Chatham Dockyards

I love these photos but as I was walking around finding things to photograph, I came across many other people taking pictures of similar things. This makes me wonder if this is the right place to work with,
is it too museum-like?

These photographs are from around UCA Maidstone. I tried to concentrate on interesting textures and grid like objects.

I want to screen-print phrases such as these ones onto some of my images as an experiment.

Texture Photography

I love taking random texture photographs. A lot of my photography is like this, I want to experiment more with it and using typography with it for a collage effect.

Designer Research

This is called The Ox, by Alan Fletcher. I like the way he has used random found object to make an image.

This Page is from the Why Not Associates book. The way they layer text and image gives a confusing but aesthetically pleasing effect. I would like to experiment with this and photography to see what effect i get.

Trip to London

I went to the tate...again! Saw the sunflower seed installation in the hall. Crazy stuff!
I was also really inspired by this ripped collage poster piece although i forgot to get the name of the artist.

I have started to experiment in my sketch-book with found objects and images from certain places to sum  it up in an abstract collagey way. The first one is Hastings and thenext is London.

This Vince Frost book was interesting to look through although I preferred what it looked like on the outside to the content!

Start of Final Major Project

I want to start my project by playing around with type and image. I enjoy photographing mundane objects and making them look beautiful and i want to incorporate this into my final project.

I started by cutting out words from magazines. This is what happened. I think it looks cool, shame it doesn't make sense though.
